DEAN BRYANT - Proprietor - Diesel Mechanic
Dean has worked in the motor repair industry for the past 17 years. In his early days he completed two apprenticeships: Heavy Vehicle Automotive and Engine Reconditioning. Whether it is a clutch adjustment, brake adjustment or wheel bearing replacement, all tasks Dean undertakes are carried out with a high level of skill and attention to detail. Dean's experience and expertise is one of the biggest assets of our business.
At MECHANIKA MOTORS Dean handles all the service enquiries and parts ordering processes as well as working with the workshop team.
Dean holds a current MVRL licence and is an authorised RTA examiner for both heavy and light vehicles. Dean is the company secretary.
JESSICA BRYANT - Proprietor
Jessica is a qualified graphic designer and spent her years prior to opening up MECHANIKA MOTORS as a marketing manager for a large real estate agency in the Southern Highlands. She utilities her experience and expertise to ensure smooth operating of all office operations. Jess encourages and promotes training and adhering to safe operation procedures for all the MECHANIKA MOTORS staff as well as maintaining a high level of customer service in all MECHANIKA MOTORS transactions.
Jess is the company director.
JAMES PUGH - Workshop Manager
James completed his plant mechanic apprenticeship with MECHANIKA MOTORS in January 2015. Six years later, James is still with us, has also completed his Heavy Vehicle Commercial trade and now been promoted to the position of Workshop Manager. James has a broad knowledge of common issues with vehicles on the highway, has a high attention to detail in his workmanship and is an experienced technician within our workshop. He understands the importance of getting our customers vehicles moving and strives to exceed expectations. James enjoys the challenge of solving issues with vehicles as well as supporting, guiding and overseeing our workshop team.
When James isn't working on your vehicles, you'll find him socialising with his mates or spending time with his family.
CAMERON HOCKEY - Offsite Relationships Manager
Cameron joined our MECHANIKA MOTORS team in August 2015. Prior to us, Cameron completed his apprenticeship at a local bus company and was a foreman there for three years. His skills and knowledge as a tradesperson are highly developed and he enjoys the challenge of something new every day. Cameron's highly attuned attention to detail means he is able to do preventative checks to a high standard - letting our customers know what is going to require attention in the near future, before it fails! Cameron has also recently been promoted to Offsite Relationships Manager - he looks after and oversees all of our offsite operations.
Cameron is a keen hunter and enjoys fishing and motorbike riding in his spare time.
TREVOR MARTIN - Hydraulics Manager
Trevor has been a valuable part of our team since October 2018. His detail, passion and extensive knowledge of the heavy vehicle automotive industry as well as hydraulics is second to none. Prior to us, Trevor worked at a local Hydraulics business for more than ten years. He is very excited about the launch of our RYCO 24/7 journey and has taken on the position of Hydraulics Manager with enthusiasm.
In his spare time Trevor enjoys spending time with his three children, riding his motorbike and doing things around his home!
JORDAN CHETCUTI - Tradesperson
Jordan is the newest tradesperson to join our team. He is a qualified plant mechanic. He has came to us from a workshop in Sydney, as his family made a lifestyle change and moved to Crookwell. Jordan is enthusiastic about his work at MECHANIKA MOTORS and has sound knowledge on a wide range of vehicles and machinery. Keen to learn more and continue to broaden his knowledge Jordan is interested in doing a cross over course to Heavy Vehicle Commercial Technology in house at MECHANIKA MOTORS.
Jordan is thrilled to have made the change to the country and is looking forward to seeing what he can achieve at MECHANIKA MOTORS.
KIM GEORGE - OFFICE ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
Kim has been pivotal in the smooth operations of MECHANIKA MOTORS administration since September 2019. She is friendly, efficient and handles all accounts receivable transactions, front of house operations and induction compliance for our offsite activities as well as oversees the work of our Virtual Assistant, Leny Santos. Kim has had previous administration experience in the automotive industry and brings with her a can-do attitude to all she sets out to achieve.
When Kim isn't at MECHANIKA MOTORS she is busy socialising and spending time with her family.
KYLE HAYES - 4th Year Apprentice Plant Mechanic
Kyle commenced his apprenticeship with MECHANIKA MOTORS in November 2017. Prior to this he completed Year 12 at Mulwaree High School. Kyle enjoys working with the team and the various experiences he gets to have working on a range of vehicles and trailers. He is quickly becoming a valuable asset to the MECHANIKA MOTORS team.
In his spare time, Kyle is usually out and about 4wd driving with friends and hanging out at the local pub.
MICK BRYANT - 1st Year Apprentice Diesel Mechanic
Mick is Dean's son and has been assisting the workshop team at MECHANIKA MOTORS since he was 13 years old. Mick has always dreamt of being a mechanic and following his father's footsteps. With a passion for cars, engines and performance, Mick is enthusiastic about becoming an apprentice mechanic.
Mick loves spending time doing up his ute, rocking his mullet, playing with his energetic dog, Dusty, and going away camping with his family.
